What is a good computer for running Dragon Medical and working in a web based EMR?
My practice runs PrimeSuite which is a web based EMR and we recently got Dragon to add dictation capability. The issue is that as the two programs are running the EMR begins to run very slow, with a lot of delay after clicking a link. It is delayed to the point that we are looking into getting different laptop computers that will be able to handle the situation. It seems like RAM could certainly be an issue (our current ones have 6GB), not sure if there are other components that would be bigger contributors to the issue. The computer has an Intel i7-3687U 2.10 GHz processor. and is running Windows 7 64-bit version.
